Charles Longyear, President and Manager of Landmasters Landscape and Construction Division, CNLP
With over twenty years experience in landscape, masonry, commercial building construction, and home remodeling, Charles is a valuable resource available to you at Landmasters. Charles, an award-winning landscape designer and Certified Nursery Landscape Professional (CNLP), oversees all project work undertaken through the Syracuse location and ensures excellent craftsmanship at every step – whether it is constructing a retaining wall or building a custom gazebo. Charles supervises both interior and exterior projects throughout the year. He graduated from SUNY College of Technology at Alfred.

David Ryan, CNLP
While no longer a co-owner of Landmasters, David L. Ryan is still very involved in the landscaping aspect of the business. He is a Certified Nursery Landscape Professional who has been in the landscape design business since 1972. David studied at Syracuse University’s College of Environmental Science and Forestry and graduated from Cobleskill. His award-winning, design-oriented approach to landscape is a valuable resource to Landmasters customers.

Jessica Maddox, Accounting and Marketing
With over six years in the business, Jessica helps out in a consultative capacity in the store and assists in area marketing endeavors. She also manages the financial aspects of the business in an accounting role. She has obtained a 4-year accounting degree (BBA) from Siena College.

Mark Blair, Manager
With over six years on the Landmasters team, Mark is experienced in all aspects of water gardening – from proper water treatment to plant care. He frequently conducts water gardening seminars. He also has many years experience installing products through work on the Landmasters landscape team. He attended Allan Block University in Minnesota where he received training on retaining walls and other products. Mark is now the manager of our newest location located at Cross Creek Nursery in Manlius, NY.

Rochester, NY

Jason Redman, Manager
Having worked in the Rochester location since it opened in 2007, Jason is well-versed in everything related to hardscapes - from natural stonework to intricate retaining walls. In his previous employment, Jason worked for years in hardscapes at a Michigan retail company. He was also educated at the prestigious Allan Block University.

Gene brings ten years of experience in the hardscape industry to Landmasters’ newest location in Buffalo. Gene also graduated from Allan Block University and is ICPI Certified (certified in the installation of interlocking pavers).
